The North East Parking Show returns for its third edition as the region's premier conference and exhibition. This year the focus will be on the role of parking in supporting local communities and stimulating economic growth.
Hosted by Newcastle City Council, this event brings together parking professionals, facility managers, local authorities and industry leaders to explore how parking can be a positive enabler. By highlighting effective parking strategies, the event addresses how well managed parking can revitalise towns, enhance accessibility and foster community development.
The event will kick off with an informal networking reception the evening before, open to all delegates. The following day will feature dynamic conference sessions and an engaging exhibition.

Session 5: Protecting Front Line Staff
Civil enforcement officers, parking attendants and other public-facing staff face violence and aggression on a daily basis. What can the parking sector do to better support its people and to send a strong message to offenders that antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated, making it clear that both physical and verbal abuse have consequences?

‘Beyond the Uniform’
‘Beyond the Uniform’ is a public information campaign focused on humanising the role of parking civil enforcement officers and other traffic enforcement staff who experience abuse from the public. The campaign was devised by North Essex Parking Partnership (NEPP) and Brighton & City Council with support from PATROL (Parking and Traffic Regulation Outside London).
